Fiscal Year 2022 to 2023 Community Agency Funding

The City is now accepting proposals for program and project funding for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. Your organization will need to complete an application using the online portal. Please refer to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for additional information and eligibility criteria. The "Getting Started Guide" provides instructions for registering an account to submit an application.

Community Agency Funding Application Workshops

The City will hold a Virtual Community Agency Orientation Workshop & Public Hearing for the Consolidated Plan on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 2:00 pm, via Zoom.

City staff will provide information about this year's application process including instruction on the online application portal. The Community Development Department will also hold a public hearing to obtain views on community development and housing needs for the program year beginning July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023.

Technical Workshop

A technical workshop will be held on November 4th where City staff will provide assistance and answer questions about the request for proposals and application.  Attendance is was not mandatory.   Please email communtyagencies@cityofws.org if you have any questions.  Applications are due by Friday, November 19th, at 5:00 p.m.  

All grant requests are reviewed and scored by a Community Agency Allocation Committee (CAAC), appointed by the Mayor and City Council.  CAAC recommendations are submitted to the City Manager and presented to the Mayor and City Council for consideration.
