Department Web Content Editors maintain the web pages for their department internet and intranet sites. Instruction in using our website Content Management System (CMS) and web standards and best practices is provided by the Web Content Coordinator.

Basic Page Editing (Live Edit)

Why can’t I edit something on a page?

Because you edit this content under Modules. Always check the top left hamburger menu for which module is being used. Learn more about How to Identify Modules & Widgets.

Document Management

CityofWS.org Custom Notes

  • Add (PDF) to title of every document uploaded. Also add (PDF) to links within Editor Screen.
  • You can only add/modify files in your department’s folders. Contact Sue if you can’t edit your folder.

Editor Screen

  • Add/Link to Document within Editor Screen (video coming soon)
