HUB Certification Day

The City of Winston Salem’s Office of Business Inclusion & Advancement M/WBE Division is holding a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Certification Day to help minority and woman-owned businesses apply for a Statewide Uniform Certification (SWUC).

HUB Certification with the N.C. HUB office provides businesses with greater exposure to business opportunities in state procurement and contracting. All HUB-certified businesses are listed in the Vendor Link system, which is widely used by state agencies, universities, community colleges, local schools, local governments, and the public to locate historically underutilized businesses for goods, services and construction. HUB Certification is free and valid for four years.

The City of Winston-Salem is diligently monitoring the spread and potential threat of COVID-19 for staff and citizens. In an attempt to be proactive, the on-site workshop has been changed to a web based training.

The State of North Carolina Office of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) will conduct the web based training on Monday, March 23, 2020 from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Attendees will be sent access informaction to the email address used during registration.
