Forsyth County Incident Management Team (FC-IMT)

FCIMT Logo croppedThe State of North Carolina and local emergency agencies coordinate their efforts to effectively and efficiently provide the highest levels of incident management. Forsyth County, as a whole, is committed to improving its emergency and disaster planning, response and recovery operations to better protect the health, safety and welfare of its citizens and the business community.

The Forsyth County Incident Management Team (FC-IMT) is founded on the principles of the National Response Framework (NRF) and the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and is designed to allow for maximum coordination and cooperation between responders from all levels of government. The FC-IMT enables Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emergency Management to provide assistance with managing pre-planned public events and expanding incidents which require significant resources for preparedness, response and recovery, and provide mutual aid assistance as necessary. The team coordinates processes to allow for first responder safety, streamline incident management processes and enhance the ability to utilize federal and state funding to improve local and state agency readiness.
