ABC Permit

City of Winston-Salem Fire Department offers Fire Inspections for the pursuit of obtaining an NC ABC License.  To schedule an inspection, you must complete the following requirements

Obtain NC Inspection/ Zoning Compliance Form 

• NC Inspection/ Zoning Compliance Form (this form must be presented at the time of inspection)

• Submit the ABC Application 

• Visit http://winston-salem.geocivix.com/  If you have never used the GeoCivix (formerly IDT) system before, you will need to create an account by clicking the Sign Up button.
• Sign in using your email address and the password you created.
• Click on the drop-down menu under Commercial Permitting.
• Select Alcoholic Beverage Controlfor application type, then follow the steps to complete the online permit application, upload your files, pay your fees, and confirm your submission.

Fire Inspection

• Pay Winston-Salem Fire Department ABC inspection fee 
• Once payment has been received, you will receive the contact for your Fire Inspector to schedule the inspection at your convenience.
