Inclement Weather

During the winter months, there are times when weather conditions are such that garbage cannot be collected. Even when the roads are clear, many yards have ice and snow which makes it dangerous for the collectors. When service has been canceled or when residents are asked to bring their garbage to the street, announcements will be made on WSTV Digital Media channels, WXII-Channel 12, and in the Winston-Salem Journal.

You can call 336-727-2638 for information. After 5 p.m. a recording will provide the inclement weather information.
