Winston-Salem Urbanized Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is in the process of updating the transportation vision for the region looking twenty-five years out, Making Connections 2045.  The City staff and the study team will be hosting two virtual public input meetings for the transportation plan to review existing trends on May 5th and 6th.  An online survey will be made available to solicit input regarding the region’s priorities and specific issues that the region’s residents and businesses may be experiencing. The first public input meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 from 4:00-5:00PM. To join Tuesday’s public input meeting, please click this link: https://zoom.us/j/91802183173. The WSUAMPO is responsible for maintaining and updating the MTP every five (5) years. The MTP outlines the MPO’s goals and objectives and addresses transportation-related issues affecting the Winston-Salem Urban Area. The MPO is seeking input from residents and interested stakeholders on the current conditions of the transportation network.
