The July 6 meeting of the Winston-Salem City Council will be conducted online in order to comply with the social distancing recommendations for fighting the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  Provisions have been made for residents to participate in the public hearings and the public comment period. This is the only meeting the council will hold in July.

The meeting will begin at the regular time, 7 p.m. City residents can watch the meeting live on WSTV Digital Media (channel 13 on Spectrum or channel 99 on AT&T Uverse) or online through the city website or the city’s YouTube channel. To watch online, go to CityofWS.org and select the clapboard icon under the search box. There will be an option to watch live either through the website or YouTube.

Residents who wish to speak during the public hearings on zoning cases or during the public comment period should go to CityofWS.org/agendas and follow the instructions. There will be options to join the meeting virtually or to participate by telephone.
