Apply for ERAP Assistance Before the Eviction Moratorium Ends
City and county officials are encouraging eligible residents to apply for financial assistance with overdue rent and utilities bills before the moratorium on evictions expires July 31. Assistance is available this month outside of normal work hours. Go to the ERAP page.
African American Heritage Initiative Offering Virtual Orientation
The city’s African American Heritage Initiative Committee has created an online “virtual orientation” to better assist city residents who want to become involved with the initiative’s mission of preserving African American contributions to Winston-Salem’s history. Learn More

Liberty Street Urban Farmers Market Open for the Season
The Liberty Street Urban Farmers Market is now open from 4 to 6 p.m. every first and third Fridays of the month through October 15. Customers can buy fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs and a variety of other products. The market accepts SNAP EBT cards for purchases. Learn More
