Leaf collection starts Nov. 1

 

City crews will start collecting leaves Nov. 1, in the western quadrant of the city, north of U.S. 421/Salem Parkway and west and south of Reynolda and Yadkinville roads.

Salem Lake at low levels

Salem Lake level lowered


The water level at Salem Lake has been lowered to allow contractors to build a new boat ramp and repair the shoreline bulkhead as part of the phase II improvements to Salem Lake Park.
