Will my debit card expire?: The debit card are good for 3 years. So keep hold of your cards even if you use up all your money this year. You will use the same card until the card expiration date. You will receive a new card the month before the expiration date, free of charge.

1. Can I use my Flex Spend MasterCard BennyCard at the Dentist?: Yes, you can use your Flex Spend Card at the Dentist. Please save your receipts because Savers may ask to see the detailed receipt because some dental services, like teeth whitening, are not covered FSA expenditures.

2. Can I use my Flex Spend Card to purchase prescriptions through a mail order pharmacy?: Yes, just enter your Flex Spend Card number when asked for payment information.

3. My spouse and/or children are not enrolled on my medical/dental benefits can I still use my FSA for their medical/dental expenditures?: Yes, as long as they are your legal dependents and under the age of 26, you may use your FSA for their eligible medial and dental expenses.

4. Can I use my Flex Spend Card at my daycare provider?: Yes, as long as they accept MasterCard and have a federal tax identification as a day care provider.

5. Can my spouse and I both enroll in the maximum amount of $2,650 for the medical flexible spending account?: Yes, both you and your spouse can enroll at the maximum amount at your respective places of employment allowed by each plan.

6. Can my spouse and I both enroll in the maximum amount of $5,000 for the dependent flexible spending account?: No, Internal Revenue Service rules state that the maximum is $5,000 per household, an employee and spouse would not be allowed to both enroll in the maximum of $5,000. If you are single, the maximum you can contribute to the dependent FSA is $5,000. If you’re married and you and your spouse elect to participate in a dependent care FSA, then your combined dependent care FSA account cannot exceed $5,000.

7. Can I order additional FSA debit cards for my family or am I only allowed one FSA debit card?: You will receive one debit card at no charge to you. Additional debit cards for you (if you lost your card) or your family members can be ordered from savers for a one time only $5 charge. Cards ordered for your dependent will have the dependents name on them.
