4. How can I get information out to other employees?

The Employee Center, can be a vital place of information exchange! Read it often, send in your notices, participate in the events, tell your Department Web Content Editor about news that can be posted on your department pages or in the News or Get Involved or other sections. Talk about it with your co-workers!

5. Why do I have to sign in?

As a security measure, it is required to sign in and be authenticated as a city employee if you are not on the city network. The site will time out your authentication after a few hours, after which time (or the next day) you will sign in again to re-establish your identity as an employee.

This security allows us to make the intranet available to all city employees - even those who do not use computers for their everyday work. Read the Employee Center from home!
